Heritage Convalescent Center is a 116 bed skilled nursing facility offering short-term rehabilitation and long-term health care. We provide outstanding services in which the individual’s well-being and personal comfort are a priority. The following are the services we provide in order to meet all your needs.
Twenty-four hour, seven days a week Skilled Nursing Services; Registered Nurses; Licensed Vocational Nurses; State Certified Nursing Assistants; Assistance with Activities of Daily Living; Medication Administration; Pain Management; Respiratory Care; Wound Care; Restorative Care; Palliative Care; IV Therapy; Tracheotomy Care. We provide transportation to and from medical appointments.
Our highly successful, professional rehabilitation team delivers innovative, solid services that work. Our team: Full-Time Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistants: Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapist Assistants; Speech Language Pathologist and Certified Music Therapist.
Our nutritional program promotes the physical health of each resident. We serve delicious, wholesome meals three times a day carefully prepared on site under the direction of our Dietary Manager. Residents are offered a variety of snacks and nutritional supplements. Diets are as ordered by the resident’s physician and overseen by our Registered Dietician.
We believe in helping our residents enjoy life to the fullest. Our Social Service department helps residents and their families adjust to the facility, assist in solving any challenges and provide counsel in discharge planning. They may arrange for home health services and adaptive equipment prior to discharge home.
Our physician directs each resident’s health care and is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week for consultations.
Residents at Heritage Convalescent Center enjoy a wide range of activities developed by our Certified Activities Director to meet individual preferences and needs. Our schedule of community outings keep residents in touch with what is happening in and around Amarillo.
